Slashdotted (kind of)

Since the early days of my career, it has always been a minor goal of mine to have one of my technology accomplishments covered by the venerable tech web site http://slashdot.org
If you are unfamiliar with Slashdot, it is one of the oldest news sites dedicated to technology coverage and they have a gigantic daily following. It is so large and popular that a new term was coined called "slashdotting" which is a reference to the effect on your web server when the site posts a link to it. Almost every time that your content gets posted to the main slashdot page, what is akin to a denial of service attack occurs to your server as the millions of page hits pour in.
Well, we finally had that happen to us on a small scale as Slashdot covered the recent actions by Apple related to WiFi-Where. So, technically, I have achieved my goal, but unfortunately, it wasn't for any of the reasons that I had hoped for. Here's the link if you're interested:
