In the last few weeks, several high profile iPhone developers have very publicly announced their intention to stop developing for the platform. Many of them cite Apple's very closed, opaque, often arbitrary App approval process. Some cite other things, but the one common thread is that they feel Apple is neglecting and abusing its developer community.
Still riding high on our award for Doodle Dots, today we were informed that Doodle Search was awarded the "Hottest" award from iPhone Apps Plus.
It's really cool to see how popular our free games are around the world. Thanks again to all of you out there playing and leaving positive reviews. We really appreciate it!
You can see the award on the iPhone Apps Plus website here.
Our Doodle Dots free version won the iPhone Apps Plus - Best award!
It looks likes Doodle Dots is pretty popular in Columbia, Mexico and Saudi Arabia. Based on this, I think we might want to start looking at making our future apps localized for Spanish.

For those that are interested, we currently have 3 new games in the development pipeline. We hope to submit one to Apple this weekend. The other two we hope to have completed at the end of this coming week. Drop us an email (email@example.com) if you're interested in being a beta tester for any of the upcoming games.
P.S. The last two games have GameKit functionality integrated into them so you can play head to head with your friends!
Just an FYI for our 3Jacks user community: if you are having trouble with your account or would like to request a new user account, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Unfortunately, we are currently dealing with Russian spammers trying to send spam emails via our web site, so we have had to shut off the automatic account creations tools on the web site. We apologize for this inconvenience and will post an update as soon as the issue is resolved.
